guys, its really time to get over this “new fan” horror that’s going on. it’s literally been a topic point since 5sos went on tour with hcr - i remember everyone was a little sad bc we knew the fandom wouldn’t be so little anymore. it’s happened, get over it. people are finding out about 5sos, and if you’re worried now that they’re gonna get new fans, then take a moment to realise how far they’ve already come and how much attention was needed for that in itself.

i understand the whole mentality that 5sos are your own, i really do get it, and i understand the lack of appeal for a fanbase of 9 year olds. hell, i think about both of those things on a daily basis and practically shudder. but in the end, what’s more important?? the happiness of 4 genuine boys who are living their dreams, or you getting upset over overhearing one little conversation about how hot the blonde one is?? i think we all know the answer to that.
